4 months

We wrapped up 3-4 month finding our voice, drooling a TON and becoming more social.  Cohen loves to talk and laugh.  He is a big FLIRT!

all cheeks and mohawk

family hike...all of us ;)
after a great family hike we decided to go "look" at cars.  I insisted we were NOT buying, only looking...5 hours later we left with a 2010 GMC acadia.  I love it.  the salesmen even put a bow on it ;)  I was whining and petty things and Chris decided I deserved a newer car that had more room.

Daddy convinced mommy to get a new car
Believe it or not I *cooked* a Cohen turkey...HAHA!  he wasn't a fan but it was cute, right?!

My favorite past time is spending time with Cohen.  He is such a blessing and we have been told by so many people what a good baby he is.  I couldn't agree more!  He is almost always smiling and in a good mood.

We still love visitors so we enjoyed having Donna & Gary come to visit.
Finally our picture of our 4 month old!  He has so much personality!

3 months

Its amazing how much Cohen changes daily so wrapping up the last month may be a LONG post :)
The biggest milestone is he has found his voice.  Most of the day he is talking (I like to think I understand) but it's all baby squeals.  If his hands arent stuffed in his mouth he is pulling on his feet to try to get them in there.  Drool is our worst enemy and his outfits are soaked.  But he is always so HAPPY!
I had my first day away from him for a class on Oct 7 and I was a mess...he however was fine.  He is going to the babysitter who is a family friend.  She watches Cohen and her 3 year old son.  He does great and is entertained by the new surroundings. One of his favorite people is Kaylee.  He loves watching her and telling her stories.  She loves feeding him and reading him bedtime stories.  She is a great helper and tells us daily she can't wait to babysit him...
Cohen and I went to visit Gma & Gpa while Chris was at work.  He told Gary lots of stories and even smiled a few times.
Donna made Cohen a colorful quilt that I'm sure will get lots of playtime

On Oct 15 we celebrated Austin and many other babies that left us to early for Pregnancy & infant loss day.  Daddy was out of town so we took pictures

Playing with Kaylee is one of Cohen's favorite things to do

While Tyler and Aubree were here we took some family fall pictures in the pretty fall colors

We had family pictures at Rancho San Rafeal

just hanging out, tummy time

This weekend Chris and Kaylee had some bonding time at the father-daughter dance.  Kaylee looked beautiful and is growing up too fast!  She had a great time dancing and only went into the bathroom a couple of times to re-apply her lipstick ;)  She got to wear heals for the first time and didnt fall, trip or roll her ankel (hallelujah)  They went to dinner Macaroni Grill, attended the dance and I had planned for them to enjoy ice cream afterwards but they both agreed they consumed too many delicious treats at the dance (I don't think we are still talking about my Hawks who are addicted to sweets) and thought they should just come home.

2 months

Time is flying by!  Cohen has started smiling and laughing.  He loves his play mat, being outside and cuddling with mom.  He HATES when mommy leaves for zumba (really it's colic but I like to say it's that I'm gone)
Cohen is great at sleeping at night now we are trying to get a daytime nap schedule he is also become a hater of the bottle and his pacifier.  At his 2 month well visit he was 11#8oz, 23"  and had a 15" head!   He is teething now so he is crabbier then we have experienced which could be part of the mommy leaving problem.  Did I mention he LOVES cuddling with mom :)
mommy is back to the gym!
3 pregos, 3 babies

play time with Grant who is younger and bigger ;)
Amilia got in the action

Cheering on daddy's team.

scouting guns with dad

ready to go shooting.  He really was awake

I just want to sleep through Monday

Happy boy!

So dad was playing with Cohen in the mirror and didn't listen to me so he pee'd all over him after his shower.  I had to re-bathe and then play with daddy in the mirror ;)

Bumbo time.  At first I wasn't a fan but I'm starting to like some independence...

Everyone was eating so I decided I would chew on Leo
Mommy thought this was appropriate for shots...it didn't work, they still scared me and I cried...a LOT!

I was a happy boy moving around before my shots...

I have mastered the pouty lip even in my sleep!

Macy loves to "guard" Cohen while he plays in the morning.

We are thankful for everyday with Cohen and I constantly wonder what Austin would think of him and can only imagine the trouble they would be getting into.  I am savoring this last month I have off before I go back to work.
