38 & 39 weeks

 38 weeks was organizing Cohen's room.  The painting was done by Chris' sister Hannah in remembrance of Austin.  I was proud to show all of his books that were given to us in lieu of cards from his baby shower.












I wanted Cohen's room to be colorful.  I picked a new bedding set that makes his room "pop"  The Monkey paintings were given to Austin so I tried to use bubbie's things too.

 I love this picture of Kaylee holding my belly and the frame was from our wedding.

 "Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your HEART!"  My boys have my heart and they don't even know it.

HOW FAR ALONG? 39.1

TOTAL WEIGHT GAIN:  don't want to know

STRETCH MARKS? I've been very lucky

SLEEP? impossible

SIZE OF BABY: HUGE, my guess is 7#

MATERNITY CLOTHES? outgrown

HAPPY OR MOODY MOST OF THE TIME: moody...it is +100 degrees

BEST MOMENT/S THIS WEEK? knowing Cohen is healthy and STILL cooking

WORST MOMENT THIS WEEK? Cohen is no coming out anytime soon

MISS ANYTHING? bending over when I drop something

MOVEMENT? Yup, he is constantly moving

FOOD CRAVINGS? Ice-cream snicker bars

FOOD AVERSIONS: Nope

LABOR SIGNS? I would love to be dialating, but am not doing a thing...tightly closed :(

SYMPTOMS / MOODS? occasional cramping, nothing consistent

WEDDING RINGS OFF or ON? my honeymoon ring from my right hand

MILESTONES: I have been pregnant for 254 days...

I feel like the hungry little caterpillar...
On Monday 7.15 I had acupuncture and rode the quads to get Cohen "descending"
On Tuesday 7.16 I worked
On Wednesday 7.17 I went to a health spa using the Chi machine and foot detoxification;  I borrowed Ashley's ball and rocked for awhile followed by the deed with Chris
On Thursday 7.18 I was checked by my Dr and CLOSED so I went and had a massage
On Friday 7.19 I went to Lake Tahoe for the day, Chris and I went to Bertha Miranda's for dinner where I tried to eat spicy (I'm a wimp)
On Saturday 7.20 I worked, drank oregano tea and had sex again (not fun when pregnant)
On Sunday 7.21 I worked
On Monday 7.22 I got a pedicure and it was a full moon.  Oh the princess had her baby
On Tuesday 7.23 I worked and walked...EVERYWHERE including the stairs
Today Wednesday 7.24 I got checked and was closed...I give up :(

 

37 weeks

HOT mama!  This last week we have had many water days in the pool or at wild island (water park)  Cohen is offically not a premature baby by dates and Im hopeful he will be a good sized 6-7#ish.  I'm getting nervous the longer he is in there about his size.  Kaylee was 6#12oz and Chris was & 7#14oz.  The biggest news this week was on 7.11.13 our friend Ashley had her baby girl Vaylen 8#2oz and is doing great.  Kaylee was very excited to meet her and we are in love with her and all her HAIR!  I got the pleasure of taking care of both of them and by Friday night I was ready to be on maternity leave.  Walking on your feet for 12 hours is hard on this mama!

SLEEP? sitting up...the couch is my best friend

34, 35 & 36 weeks

My laziness has gotten the best of me this last trimester.  When i'm not shopping for food or Cohen Im working or sleeping.  Sorry for the late posts.  On Friday June 21st Chris and I met some friends at the rodeo.  Chris had a great time running around while I was a slower waddle.  Opening night is extreme bulls and we got to see a few good rides.  

We are excited that I made it thus far...if Cohen were to be born now we are hopeful that he would not have premature lungs and could avoid NICU.  We took maternity pictures on Saturday June 22 before heading to Gary's (Chris' grandpa) 75th birthday

Onto 35 weeks and still working.  The days are long and I get kicked, I mean butted in the ribs but Cohen moves ALL THE TIME.  This is painful and reassuring all at the same time.  Kaylee came back to us on Friday June 28th so we wanted to take some pictures with her.  Ashley who took pictures for us of Austin is expanding her business and asked if we could model for her.  We gladly accepted and even got great pictures with Kaylee.  Since she had her teeth pulled a good picture is hard to come by

This week has been a rough one with extreme heat 100+ and Kaylee fighting an ear infection.  We took advantage of wild island

with Kendra and Grace and enjoyed fireworks for 4th of July on Lake Tahoe

BEST MOMENT/S THIS WEEK? Cohen has good fluid and is est. 5lbs 7oz

WORST MOMENT THIS WEEK? OMG heat is not my friend

MISS ANYTHING? being able to lay down without reflux, sit in one position comfortably

MOVEMENT? Yup, he is constantly moving

FOOD CRAVINGS? I've been horrible with Freze from Maverick (frosty like shakes)

FOOD AVERSIONS: Nope

LABOR SIGNS? nada, although at this time I would be ok with some action

SYMPTOMS / MOODS? big belly

BELLY BUTTON IN or OUT? Out :(

WEDDING RINGS OFF or ON? officially had to take it off and wear a different ring this week

MILESTONES: almost a term baby.  37 weeks are not too BIG and mama is excited to meet Cohen
